Carrot has reached a major milestone: 75 sample case studies, now live on our Explore Case Studiespage. Together, these programs represent more than a decade of work helping governments, foundations, and corporate clients to design, brand, develop, and manage high-impact competitions and next-generation procurement initiatives. We publish these sample case studies, so that you can test drive them and learn more about what we can do for you.
These 75 case studies span a wide range of sectors and challenges, including public health, scientific research, climate and sustainability, economic development, civic engagement, space exploration, and workforce innovation. They include nationally recognized programs such as MacArthur Foundation’s 100&Change, NASA Earth Space Air Prize, Chicago Prize, Healthy Aging Challenge, Marine Protection Prize, MI Champions, and many state- and city-led initiatives redefining how public dollars are deployed.
What unites all 75 case studies is a shared set of values: open, transparent, and fair. Each program was designed to widen participation, clearly communicate expectations, and evaluate ideas using processes that participants can understand and trust.
Across sectors and sponsors, Carrot replaces opaque, one-off decision-making with open calls, transparent criteria, and fair evaluation models that attract new voices and strengthen ideas. In nearly every case, Carrot provided not only the platform, but also program design, program branding, program development, and program management to ensure that these values were embedded from start to finish.
This milestone reflects the trust our partners place in Carrot to help them tackle complex challenges and deliver results at scale.
