Carrot is proud to partner with the City of Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency to launch the BioHealth Innovation Challenge—a bold $10 million global competition to establish and operate a biosciences incubator lab in the heart of the Las Vegas Medical District.
As Southern Nevada positions itself as a growing hub for life sciences, diagnostics, biotech, and advanced healthcare, this challenge represents a major investment in the region’s health and economic future. The winning proposal will secure funding to develop a cutting-edge incubator lab within one of the city's redevelopment areas—advancing innovation and attracting top talent to the Las Vegas Medical District.
With a track record of helping over 60 organizations solve complex procurement challenges, Carrot designed the competition structure and is powering every stage of the challenge process through its purpose-built procurement platform. From collecting proposals to evaluating submissions and selecting the best solution, Carrot is ensuring the process runs smoothly, efficiently, and transparently.
“The BioHealth Innovation Challenge represents a bold step forward in positioning Las Vegas as a national leader in biosciences and innovation,” said Mayor Pro Tem Brian Knudsen. “This is about an investment in the health and economic future of Las Vegas.”
